Update on Google+ Local Pages

December 16, 2015

Recently there was announcement upon an update to all Google+ Local business listings. Where they are in the process of updating the look and feel of the Google+ Listings by removing various info from the listings i.e. Business Phone Number, Reviews, Any Photos, Categories, Page Views, Hours of Operation, Map, The Option to Star the Location, and Ability to Upload a Picture or Share a Location.

However despite this update the Google+ Data in regards to SERPs the “Search Engine Results Pages”  will remain the same. This change though has delivered a major change up on all Google+ pages themselves.

Thus as part of Google’s continuous rollback upon Google+, this powerful search engine giant is limiting the overall value and usefulness of Google+ pages by removing any useful information to end user i.e. phone numbers, consumer reviews, and photos.
